PROMISE Family Support Group: Breaking Barriers

Jubilee Association of Maryland's Breaking Barriers Manager, Lisa Lorraine, will present information on:

• What is a Medicaid waiver
• The different types of Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) services
• The difference between the Self-Directed Service delivery model (SDS) vs the traditionally delivered and managed services model
• The role of a Coordinator of Community Service (CCS) in starting and managing DDA services

There will be time for Questions and Answers. Lisa can also provide one-on-one follow-up support to families.
